Tough Loss

The Mankato West softball team made an incredible run this year, busting into the state tournament and going all the way to the title game, getting past Big Lake 4-3, before dropping the Class AAA title game to Eagan in a 14-1 six inning loss at Caswell Park out in North Mankato. Snapping a 25 game win streak with that loss! They had a really kick-ass year this year- and, as a plus, there aren't a lot of seniors on the team, so most of 'em will be back next year.
