Celtics!

Boston brought home its 17th NBA Championship last night, beating the Los Angeles Lakers 131-92. Pretty cool stuff- I was growing up in the Michael Jordan era of NBA basketball, so I missed out on the Magic Johnson/Larry Bird duels of the 1980s, mores the pity, but a good rivalry is a good rivalry and it's about time Boston had it again. If there's one thing I don't like about the NBA its the proliferation of dynasties that just keep winning again and again and again. It may rock if you're a fan of that particular team, but it's boring for the rest of us.
