The Title

That's gotta be the first question on everyone's mind: what's the deal with the title? And what's the deal with the domain name?

Well, I took the title 'Crosseyed and Painless' from a Talking Heads song that I enjoy a great deal. Given the long primary season this particular election year, I've become very aware of how inane some of the commentators on TV really are- and more importantly just how influential the media can be, despite its protestations to contrary sometimes. The lyric: 'facts don't go with points of view/facts don't do what I want them too' seemed particularly resonant to me.



The domain name was a spur of the moment thing inspired by Third Rock From The Sun and William Shatner's turn as the motley crew's supreme leader, 'The Big Giant Head.' Which also fits nicely because if anyone knows me, they know that I too have a big giant head, so it seemed appropriate.
